The Streets & Tame Impala team up for new song ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing Better’

After it was previewed last week via social media, Kevin Parker and Mike Skinner have finally revealed the collaboration between Tame Impala and The Streets, titled ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing’.

The single is the first taste we’ve heard of The Streets’ just announced upcoming mixtape, None Of Us Are Getting Out Of This Life Alive.

Skinner has also dropped the video for ‘Call My Phone Thinking I’m Doing Nothing’, which sees him try to call Parker on an old school Nokia with the words ‘social distancing’ written across the phone’s screen.

The forthcoming mixtape, which drops Friday, 10th July, will mark the first full length release from The Streets in almost a decade. Their most recent effort, Computers and Blues, dropped in 2011.

Both The Streets and Tame Impala last played shows in Australia as part of the 2019 Splendour In The Grass lineup. Tame Impala were scheduled to tour their latest album, The Slow Rush, later this month, but that tour has since been postponed to December due to the coronavirus outbreak.
