Julian Casablancas has been hinting to a couple of Australian music sources that The Strokes will probably tour here sometime mid-year, and now it’s finally been confirmed.
They’ve announced only two shows so far, but with Splendour on the same weekend it’s a good bet they’ll be heading up to Queensland too. The dates confirmed so far are Thursday 29th July at the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney and Friday 30th July at Festival Hall, Melbourne.
Tickets for these shows go on sale Monday 12th April.
