The Tea Party have announced 2012 Australian tour dates to run throughout July, as promised last week. The Canadian trio called it quits in 2005 but reformed for a run of shows in 2011; it seems things all went well, with lead singer Jeff Martin keen to keep the band touring in 2012.
Recently, the band were in the media spotlight when the United States political party, which goes by the same name, wanted to buy their domain name teaparty.com. At the time, Tea Party bassist Stuart Chatwood said:
“So much damage has been done to our name by the political movement that we’re considering selling [The domain name].”
