Iconic Canadian rockers The Tea Party have announced their return to Australia in 2019, but this will be their first time playing in intimate venues.
The band’s last album was released back in 2014 – The Ocean at the End – but that hasn’t stopped them from touring. They were last in the country together in 2017 for a 20th anniversary tour of their seminal 1997 album Transmission. On top of that, frontman Jeff Martin was here in 2018 for a massive solo tour.
This new intimate tour will take on nine dates across the country this June. It will kick off in Hastings, before taking on shows in Melbourne, Lilydale, Sydney, Canberra, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Brisbane and Adelaide.
