The Used Announce 25th Anniversary Australian Tour For 2025

The Used have announced their biggest Australian tour to date, undertaking a massive three-week, 15-date run of shows across the capital cities from mid-August to early September 2025. The tour is celebrating the band’s 25th anniversary, with three-night stints in each city each dedicated to a playthrough of their first three albums: 2002’s self-titled debut, its 2004 follow-up In Love & Death and their 2007 album Lies For The Liars. A breakdown of the full tour itinerary can be found below.

“These first three records are what put The Used on the map,” said Bert McCracken, the band’s frontman, in a press statement announcing the tour. “I can’t wait to experience the joy in playing all three records from front to back. I know it will be an amazing time.” Jeph Howard – the band’s bassist and co-founder, alongside McCracken – added: “We feel extremely lucky and humbled to have been a part of something way bigger than ourselves for the past 25 years. To everyone that has been there from the beginning, or is just starting out your adventure with us: thank you.”

The Used last toured Australia in April of 2023, which was a co-headlining tour with Papa Roach. Since the band were last here, they have released a further two studio albums: 2023’s Toxic Positivity and this year’s Medz. Their relationship with Australia stems back nearly 20 years, having first toured in May of 2005 – with McCracken ultimately moving to Sydney circa 2013. Per Setlist.FM, Australia is the band’s fourth most-played area behind the US, the UK and Canada.
