Three of modern music’s coolest stars – The Weeknd, Travis Scott and SZA – have joined forces for the lead single from the new Game Of Thrones-inspired album For The Throne.
It was reported a few weeks ago that the three of them were working on a track together. According to Pitchfork, Game Of Thrones, now in its final season, hit up The Weeknd for a song for the album and he then tapped Scott and SZA to join him.
For The Throne drops next Friday, 27th April and features a whole slew of stars. Along with the three aforementioned artists, The National, Matt Bellamy, Mumford & Sons, Ellie Goulding, A$AP Rocky and more have also contributed new material for it.
‘Power Is Power’ isn’t the only song we have from the album, either. We’ve also got The Lumineers’ new one ‘Night Shade’ and album opener from Maren Morris ‘Kingdom of One.’
