Aussie alt-rock legends The Whitlams are heading out on an Australian tour later in 2016.
In what has pretty much become a yearly ritual for the group, they’ll play 10 shows around the country starting in August and running into late September.
Tim, Jak, Warwick and Terepai will be playing all of your favourite tunes from the seven albums that the group have recorded since 1993. Their third LP Eternal Nightcap was also recently voted #17 in triple j’s Hottest Australian Albums of All Time.
The tour will kick off with three shows at Lizotte’s in Newcastle, before The Whitlams play dates in Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne – visiting a heap of venues that have become second homes to the band after two and a half decades of touring.
