The Wombats and The Holidays off Groovin the Moo 2011 Bunbury Line-up + New Bands added

English indie rock band, The Wombats and Aussie indie pop band The Holidays have pulled out of the final Groovin the Moo show at Bunbury, WA on 14th May.

The Wombats have been invited to play at BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, alongside the Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa, My Chemical Romance and many others. In 2010 the Big Weekend was held on the 22/23 May, however this year it unexpectedly moved a week earlier, leading to a direct clash with Groovin the Moo Bunbury.

The Holidays have also been offered a spot on the Great Escape Festival in the UK, which unfortunately is on same weekend.

Groovin the Moo promoters have been quick to fill the spots in the line-up by adding Sydney indie-folk band Boy & Bear, Perth band The Panics, Hip-hop artist PEZ and 360 while unearthed winner Antonio Paul and local acts Sons of Rico and Sans Cisco are also included.

Fans in Bunbury who have purchased tickets especially to see The Wombats can get their money back, Moshtix will refund tickets from 9am AWST Monday 4 April to 5pm AWST Friday 8 April on 1300 438 849 or ticketingsupport@moshtix.com.au. Refunds will be processed within 2 weeks, and will go back to the card used for the purchase. GTM Bunbury ticket holders will receive information on the refund by email on Monday 4 April 2011.
