English indie rock band The Wombats will return in 2011 for more Australian tour dates this October. This will be their third visit to Australia in 12 months after playing Parklife in 2010 and Groovin the Moo earlier this year.
The band pulled out of Groovin the Moo in Bunbury earlier this year after being invited to play BBC1’s Big Weekend, alongside the Foo Fighters, Black Eyed Peas, Lady GaGa and My Chemical Romance. The dates for that festival were moved a week earlier than expected, leading to a clash. WA fans will be glad to hear that they will be playing a Perth show this time round.
Faker and Owl Eyes will be the support at all shows.
Tickets $79.90 (incl. GST/Booking fee).
