Things continue to thrive in Thelma Plum‘s world, with the announcement of a new record from the acclaimed performer and songwriter. Well, the record isn’t new, exactly.
Due for release on Friday, 25th November, When Rose Met Monsters is a double EP comprising Plum’s first two EPs, Rosie and Monsters. It’s the first time both records will be available together on vinyl, CD and cassette.
Thelma Plum – ‘Rosie’
Plum released her debut EP Rosie in 2013; Monsters followed in 2014, the latter featuring favourites like ‘How Much Does Your Love Cost?’ and ‘Young In Love’. “I am super excited that my first two EPs, full of songs that started me on my adventure, get to hang out together,” Plum said of the upcoming release.
Alongside the arrival of When Rosie Met Monsters, Plum will be releasing a deluxe digital edition of her Meanjin EP on 25th November. Plum released the six-track Meanjin in August 2022, describing it as a “love letter to her hometown” of Meanjin/Brisbane.
November is shaping up to be a big one for Plum – not only does she have these releases to look forward to, but she is up for three ARIA Awards: Best Pop Release, Best Australian Live Act and Best Solo Artist. Plum will also perform a select run of shows in November, dates below.
