Melbourne-based cats Them Swoops have been selected for a highly coveted month-long residency at Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club. The lads have only just walked off stage from the final show of their latest headlining tour in support of their Glimmers EP, so the buzz couldn’t be higher.
Kicking off Tuesday, 10th September Them Swoops will perform each Tuesday until Tuesday, 1st October. Their live performance is set to feature an array of crowd favourites, with Glimmers proving to deliver not one, but three killer singles so far: The more recent Rollerskate as well as their 2012 radio hits Work Around It and Too Fast for Love.
Their infectious grooves and well planned beats have mused sold-out audiences all over the country. The band is quickly piecing together an impressive resume, with previous experience including supports for The Maccabees, Birds Of Tokyo, Hungry Kids Of Hungary, San Cisco, The Rubens, and Ball Park Music and accolades such as triple j Unearthed Fuse Festival competition scoring some sweet high rotation along the way.
