American pharmaceutical company Theraflu isn’t a fan of Kanye West‘s new song of the same name.
A company representative has told TMZ they “in no way endorse or approve of the references or use of the image and likeness of Theraflu in this manner.”
“Theraflu is an over-the-counter product used to help relieve cold and flu symptoms that millions of consumers rely on”, he said.
TMZ also reports that Theraflu’s reps didn’t say they would sue the singer, but their statement included words such as ‘image’ and ‘likeness’ – which are often used in legal proceedings.
Kanye is believed to have named the song after the cold medicine as a pot shot towards his haters, suggesting they take a big dose of the product to put up with him. The song also reveals Kanye’s love for his new girlfriend, reality TV megastar Kim Kardashian.
