There’s A Game Of Thrones Live Concert Coming To Australia Early Next Year

Game of Thrones may have wrapped up its eighth and final season earlier this year – but if you’re starting to feel a dragon-shaped void in your soul, never fear.

The series’ Emmy Award-winning composer Ramin Djawadi is bringing music from all eight seasons to Australia in February 2020 in an immersive orchestral concert experience, so you can relive all of the drama IRL.

Djawdi first conceptualised the tour a few years ago, crafting a synthesis of musical and visual elements to recreate the Game of Thrones universe in all its glory. The production has already clocked up around 100 shows around the world, with The Guardian describing it as “Westeros brought to dazzling life.”

The show includes compositions from across the show’s entire running, such as ‘The Night King’ theme, Djawadi’s epic 9-minute arrangement from season eight.

Check out dates below. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 16th August at midday, but there’s a Live Nation pre-sale from tomorrow morning if you’re so inclined.
