Tash Sultana has announced a new single called ‘Beyond The Pine’ is on the way. We got a cheeky snippet of the forthcoming song and it sounds like a chill AF love song. As Sultana revealed though, we’ll know for sure this Thursday, 10th September.
‘Beyond The Pine’ is set to follow up Tash Sultana’s previous two singles, ‘Greed’ and ‘Pretty Lady’. The singles are taken from their forthcoming, second studio album Terra Firma. You can catch the ‘Beyond The Pine’ teaser down below.
On the new album, Sultana told NME Australia, “Terra firma is the ground, the earth, you put your feet on it to remember where you are, what you’re from.”
“It’s a reminder that we are only human at the end of the day. Part of one big system and no one really knows the answers to how and why.”
As well as the singles, Sultana covered ‘Through The Valley’ back in June for PlayStation’s The Last of Us Part II.
Tash Sultana has been announced as part of the 2021 Bluefest lineup. They join Bon Iver, Patti Smith And Her Band, Jimmy Barnes, George Benson, The Teskey Brothers, and loads more.
