In anticipation of rapper Kanye West‘s seventh seventh studio album, a hardcore Yeezy fan has reportedly paid USD$500 for a 32-second snippet of a new Kanye track by the name of Black Bruce Wayne (below).

According to Consequence of Sound, the snippet was leaked online by a member of Kanye online forum KanyeToThe. A member of the site reportedly acquired the snippet from someone in the music industry, and then sold it to another member for USD$500. Taking into account the fact that Kanye only raps for roughly 12 of the 32 seconds in the snippet, the lucky fan paid around $42 for every second of new Yeezy.

The snippet itself mirrors the less claustrophobic sounds of earlier Kanye material, and shares few similarities with his 2013 album Yeezus or even his new Adidas-sponsored track God Level. Kanye’s short spit rolls, “I hear the girls scream soon as we arriving. You can ask Ivan, We be straight mackin. Y’all work at IBM, hotels they be in. Ooh la la, très bien. Magnifique, any street.”

There is some speculation as to whether or not the Black Bruce Wayne snippet is an older Kanye track, or even an unreleased feature from another artist’s song.

Yeezy’s next album is rumoured to be slightly more minimalistic, and may be his most self-indulgent project yet.
