Newcastle’s THIS THAT festival have today announced the lineup for this November’s iteration, dropping some big names for the festival’s fifth year.
Peking Duk will return to the festival’s main stage, showcasing a bunch of new tracks such as their Jack River collab ‘Sugar’ and ‘Ur Eyez’ with Al Wright. Masked producer Golden Features will close the main stage, and the beloved Hermitude are set to headline the THAT stage.
It’s not just electronic fans who are in luck, however, with the likes of Meg Mac, Middle Kids, Alex – both of the Lahey and Astronaut variety – and Ali Barter just a few of the names on the festival lineup.
Newy locals haven’t been ignored either – hometown heroes Raave Tapes are bringing the heat too. The fuzzed-out rock trio were the triple j Unearthed act for the festival back in 2016, so their return seems only fitting.
Pre-sale registration is open through the This That site here, and closes midnight tomorrow (Wednesday, July 3rd). Pre-sale begins this Thursday July 4th, with GA on sale Friday. The festival have announced they’re introducing a pay-later function for tickets this year for those who can’t quite afford the ticket price in one cop, allowing punters to make payment over three instalments before the event.
