Radiohead‘s Thom Yorke has created a soundtrack for a fashion show, and it’s made its way online for your listening pleasure.
Yorke was given the task of making some tunes to compliment the models strutting their stuff on the catwalk at the Rag and Bone fashion label event in Manhattan earlier this week. To create the soundtrack, he teamed up with long-time collaborator Nigel Godrich – who is also part of his side project Atoms For Peace.
It’s not the first time Yorke has dabbled in catwalk soundtracks – he provided music for a show by the same label back in September 2011. After doing so, two of the tracks he wrote for the event – Twist and Stick Together – ended up online, much to the delight of hardcore Radiohead fans.
Atoms For Peace’s debut record Amok will be out on February 25. Along with Godrich, the band also features Flea (from Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Joey Waronker. You can get all the details on the record here.
But if you can’t wait that long for a ‘new-music-from-Thom-Yorke fix’, you can stream the fashion show soundtrack from the Rag & Bone Facebook page.
