ORIGINAL ARTICLE:
Ticketek are copping a roasting online after telling Harry Styles fans that the singer’s Australian tour – scheduled to kick off this November – is “proceeding as planned” amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Over the weekend, the ticket company’s official Twitter account responded to a tweet regarding why it was taking so long for the tour to be rescheduled.
The Harry Styles Australia & New Zealand tour is proceeding as planned and we are excited to welcome everyone to the events in November and December.
In the event of a cancellation, exchanges and refunds will be processed according to AU/NZ consumer law.

“The Harry Styles Australia & New Zealand tour is proceeding as planned and we are excited to welcome everyone to the events in November and December,” wrote the account.
“In the event of a cancellation, exchanges and refunds will be processed according to AU/NZ consumer law.”
As you might imagine, that response has been met with a level of incredulity, given that we’re currently experiencing a global pandemic. International borders are largely closed, full-capacity arena concerts are extremely not permitted, and you can barely set foot out your front door in Victoria more than an hour a day.

The fact that we’ve all accepted Harry’s Australian/NZ tour isn’t happening this year before the ticketing company has? Bold. https://t.co/cmpoNeSPfu

Styles is yet to comment himself on the Australian tour, but he has postponed dates in both America and Europe until 2021.
“The well-being of my crew, and all the fans around the world will always hold top priority. I can’t wait to see you all out on the road, as soon as it’s safe to do so,” the singer wrote when announcing rescheduled US dates back in March.
