Melbourne folk trio Tinpan Orange have spent the last two months slowly unwinding their web of intoxicating acoustic melodies on the road, capturing new fans at spring festivals and delighting the old at sold out album launch shows. As many are culminating the year’s endeavours, Tinpan Orange are by no means cutting the last sheaf, now adding extra dates to their album tour throughout November and December.
The next crop of shows will see the band deliver their signature gypsy-folk inspired sound to both new and familiar territories, with a stack of festivals (York Jazz & Soul, Blues At Bridgetown, Queenscliff and Mullumbimby) in between headline shows. All the while in the press, augmenting whispers, they continue to harvest alluring reviews for their new LP, The Bottom Of The Lake.
