Tired Lion are back with the first single, ‘Cinderella Dracula’, off their forthcoming debut album and they’ve also announced a national tour to show it off.
While the album has no release date just yet, they’ve announced four dates around the country in May which they’ll no doubt use to drop some new music live.
The album was produced by longtime collaborator Dave Parkin as well as Violent Soho frontman Luke Boerdam.
Boerdam had a part in ‘Cinderella Dracula’, a song about a “one-night stand,” as frontwoman Sophie Hopes told triple j.
“I wrote the lyrics down whilst waiting for this guy to leave. It was awful timing but I guess it was my way of saying ‘F*ck you, can you get out of my house’.”
You’re likely to hear that track in all its glory on the tour which will start in Perth on 5th May and move through Brisbane.
