Tom DeLonge has been very busy since getting the boot from Blink 182, channelling all his energy into UFO research.
As CoS report, DeLonge is due to release his non-fiction work Sekret Machines: Gods on 7th March and it’s said to be, “an eye-opening investigative journey to the heart of the UFO phenomenon.”
It was written with author Peter Levenda features interviews with everyone from scientists to military officials and is apparently going to open people’s eye to the phenomenon, one that has often said to be untrue by journalists and historians.
The press release calls those judgements, “misinformed”.
“Sekret Machines: Gods is the opening salvo on the complacency of human institutions where the UFO Phenomenon is concerned,” says co-author Levenda about the book.
“It’s designed to shake people up, to make them question their assumptions.”
This is the second book that DeLonge has co-authored about UFOs. Last year, he released Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows along with an Angels & Airwaves EP. That was a fiction work, however, whereas this one will be cold, hard facts.
Last year, DeLonge said that we shouldn’t be using the word aliens to describe, well, aliens.
“In pop culture, that’s a term people throw out there, and rightfully so because the government spends a lot of time and a lot of money throwing that term out there. But it’s much more complex than that,” he said.
Maybe if you read the book you’ll find out why.
The forthcoming book is part of a three part series and is set to be followed by Man and War.
