The music of the beloved Tomb Raider video game franchise is coming to Australia in 2019.
The show — which will make its Aussie debut at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall in April — will see a 45-piece orchestra and 26-voice choir recreate music from the series’ original trilogy: Tomb Raider (1996), Tomb Raider II (1997) and Tomb Raider III (1998).
Original Tomb Raider composer Nathan McCree will be in Australia for the show, which will be conducted by Australia’s Jessica Gethin as in-game video is projected on a screen and Lara Croft raids tombs a’plenty.
It’s unclear if shows in other cities will be announced.
