Tool Are Going On A Tour To Take Fans Into The Process Behind Their Music

Tool are heading out on tour but it’s not the sort of tour you’re used to.

The band have announced a music clinic tour where they will give fans an exclusive insight into their classics.

Guitarist Adam Jones, drummer Danny Carey, and bass player Justin Chancellor will all be present at six dates with James Maynard Keenan the only member not attending.

It’s being billed as “a rare immersive dissection and performance,” whereby the three band members will be, “walking attendees through a handful of the band’s songs, from the process of writing them to playing them live.”

Fans will be encouraged to “mingle” with the band following the sessions and will also receive exclusive memorabilia.

We’re sure fans are going to ask questions about the new music so we’re going to have to wait and see whether any information emerges. At last update, the band were sharing videos from the studio recording the record. The videos had no sound so we still have no idea what the new music sounds like.

Unfortunately this tour includes no Australian dates but you can check out the details below just in case you want to fly over to the US.
