It’s something of a Melbourne-themed Tour Guide today, folks. We’ve got tour news from three of Melbourne’s finest young talents: Daniel Merriweather, who’s announced a one-off hometown show, Yeo, who’ll soon share stages with Peking Duk, and a tour from Splendour-bound Fractures.
Daniel Merriweather One-Off Melbourne Show
Melbourne native Daniel Merriweather will return to his hometown on Wednesday, 6th August to showcase his critically acclaimed performance chops once again. With his highly awaited new album almost completed, Merriweather will debut a batch of new material at this one-off show.
The two-time ARIA Award winner has been at the forefront of the soul revival movement in Australia since first unleashing smash hits like Change and Red, which reached #4 and #2 on the UK singles chart respectively, while his debut album, Love & War, exploded at #2 on the UK albums chart.

Yeo Joins Peking Duk’s National Tour
Melbourne-based production talent Yeo has a whole lot of big news. Not only will he soon be joining Australian EDM favourites Peking Duk on their August tour, including an appearance onstage with them at Splendour In The Grass, but the young producer is now bound for BIGSOUND 2014.
Back in April, having spent the summer touring alongside Ngairre, Fractures, and Glass Animals, Yeo unveiled the latest offering from his forthcoming debut EP, Kobe. Produced by Yeo and mixed by Phil Threlfall, Kobe is a consuming slice of avant-pop, which recently got the nod from Triple J.
