Today’s tour guide features tours from Sydney psych-pop band Richard In Your Mind, Brisbane indie-poppers Babaganouj and electro-popstar Elizabeth Rose.
Richard In Your Mind Vs The Space Octopus Tour
Sydney psych-pop band Richard In Your Mind are embarking on an east coast tour playing songs from their latest album Ponderosa and favourites from their previous three records. Ponderosa is their most sonically complete and dynamic record yet and was appropriately long-listed for the Australian Music Prize. The band have become staples of the Australian live music scene, touring tirelessly throughout 2014.
The nine-date tour is set to start on Friday, 13th February (spooky!) at The Union Hotel in Sydney and finish up at Farmer & The Owl Festival in Wollongong on Saturday, 14th March alongside Jebediah, DZ Deathrays and more. A few of the shows are free too which sweetens the deal.

Babaganouj Can’t Stop Tour
Brisbane band Babaganouj are somewhat of an Australian indie supergroup. The band is made up of Charles from Yves Klein Blue, Jack from Inland Sea and Harriet and Ruby from Go Violets. They released their first EP, Sife Lucks, last year and are now heading out on the road to showcase new single Can’t Stop in the live arena.
Even better, they’ll be co-headlining three dates in April with Melbourne’s “floor-pounding, shout along” pop punkers Scotdrakula. Expect to hear more of what both bands have up their sleeve for the new year.

Elizabeth Rose Discotheque Club Tour
Elizabeth Rose is taking to intimate clubs in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, curating late night parties. The pint-sized popstar will be bringing along her favourite local DJs to shine a light on the newbies popping up in the electronic scene.
These are the first tour dates for Rose in over six months as she’s been hiding away collaborating with artists for her forthcoming release. Rose will be playing live and hopefully peppering her set with the new material that she’s been working on plus favourites from The Good Life EP.
