The Waifs 2014 Australian Tour
The members of Aussie folk rock veterans The Waifs have spent the past three years living abroad in different countries, hemisphere, and timezones, with the band taking something of a backseat to travelling and spending time with family, however music has always remained vital to all three.
The band will be temporarily reunited on home soil and they’ve decided to celebrate the occasion with a new string of live dates, which will see them perform favourites from their 20-year career, with some new ones thrown in, as well as a special show at the Kimberley Moon Experience.

British India ‘Coopers After Dark’ Tour
Melbourne’s British India have partnered with Coopers Dark Ale for the Coopers After Dark tour, which will see them play a string of shows across six capital cities. To attend, simply purchase a six pack, carton or glass of the bold Dark Ale brew at their participating pub or bottle shop for the chance to instantly win four VIP tickets. Of course, there are “alternate” ways to win (see here).
“Australian pubs are the lifeblood of the live music scene and it’s great to be able to throw Dark Ale’s support behind British India and give their fans a chance to see them live in a series of exclusive gigs,” said Coopers and Premium Beverages National Marketing Director Cam Pearce.

The Ape 12″ Vinyl Launch Tour
Over the last three decades, singer Tex Perkins has been one of Australian rock and roll’s most prolific and consistently acclaimed figures, and in his own opinion, his latest project with members of Magic Dirt and The Dark Horses, dubbed The Ape, is the crowning jewel on his storied career.
Tex has described The Ape’s self-titled debut album as “the album I was born to make,” and now the album will finally receive a vinyl release, with Tex and the boys set to play two very special shows at Sydney’s Oxford Arts Factory and Cherry Bar in Melbourne this May to celebrate the launch.

Little Bastard Album Tour 2014
Sydney seven-piece Little Bastard came together in 2012 when Johnny Took (vocals/guitar) met Ross Tipper (percussion/vocals) in a pub. One BIGSOUND showcase, a signing to ABC Music imprint FOUR | FOUR, and a debut album later and they’re about to be your new favourite live band.
Armed with a raft of fresh album tracks ready to be unleashed upon crowds for the first time, Little Bastard will be spending the better part of June and July getting better acquainted with our fair land’s highways, as they bring their “no-bullshit approach” towards music to the masses.
