It’s been a minute since Australia’s dance floors were graced by the likes of mash-up maestros Yacht Club DJs and they’re on a mission to rectify that glaring problem, announcing the Oddity Number 5 tour, in celebration of the duo’s fifth mixtape.
With a forthcoming EP set to be released later this year, the duo certainly seem to be cruising with the momentum generated by jaunts through the UK and US last year, during which they won plenty of new hearts and joined some big names on stage, including Mumford & Sons.
Iluka 12th of July 2014 Tour
Commercial Radio Australia and Liberation Music have announced the debut release and inaugural East Coast tour of the first recipient of the First Break initiative prize, up-and-coming Sydney singer-songwriter Iluka. Her forthcoming debut release is titled 12th of July.
“ILUKA is an outstanding example of an artist who is independent and uniquely talented but equally ready to accept the offer of a helping hand to reach a wider audience,” said Liberation Music Managing Director, Warren Costello. Iluka launches her debut tour this May.
