Train have announced a return trip to Australia after a near eight-year absence, undertaking a national tour in May 2025. The tour will see the American pop-rock band head to all major capital cities on a five-date run. The full list of dates, as well as ticketing information, can be found below.
Joining the band as support for all shows will be Scottish singer-songwriter KT Tunstall and American singer-songwriter Jason Wade, best known as the lead singer of pop-rock band Lifehouse. Tunstall is returning to Australia for the first time in nearly a decade, having last toured at the end of 2015, and will be celebrating the 20th anniversary of her 11-times platinum debut album Eye To The Telescope. Wade, meanwhile, will be touring Australia for the first time as a solo artist. Lifehouse were last in Australia circa 2017, where they performed with Live, The Calling and Thirsty Merc.

Train, also, last toured Australia in 2017 as part of their Play That Song world tour. The tour marked the first since the departure of founding members Jimmy Stewart and Scott Underwood, effectively rebranding Train as the project of lead vocalist Pat Monahan with a rotating door of collaborators. The band currently features longtime keyboardist Jerry Becker and bassist Hector Maldonado, as well as drummer Matt Musty and guitarist Taylor Locke. This version of the band recorded Train’s 11th studio album AM Gold, which was released in 2022.
