Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker was pulled over by Los Angeles police on the weekend and now the LAPD have requested a private meeting with the drummer. TMN reports that Barker was issued a ‘fix-it ticket’ for equipment violation, apparently the drummer had no license plates and illegally tinted windows.
Travis wasn’t happy with his treatment, claiming the officer ‘scared the piss’ out of his kids, and he vented his anger via Twitter:
@travisbarker: Pullin me over interrogating me & acting like u did over tinted windows till u scared the piss out my kids was uncalled 4.Job well done man.
@travisbarker :Officer FARD of LAPD,get a life man. Find some bank robbers or do something productive 2 do with your time.I know high school was hard 4 u
Now Sgt. Riggs of the Topanga Station has told TMZ he would like a private meeting with Barker to discuss why he thinks the officers crossed the line, Sgt. Riggs said:
I’d like to invite Travis to speak with me about the incident … and possibly discuss the situation with the officers involved.
A rep for Barker told TMZ: We are handling this privately with the LAPD.
