Triple J Will Posthumously Broadcast Juice WRLD’s Final Headline Show Next Week

In late November 2019, Juice WRLD performed what was to be his final headline show at Festival Hall in Melbourne. Just over a week later, the rapper tragically died following an accidental overdose, aged just 21.

triple j recorded the concert, and now they’ve announced they’ll be exclusively broadcasting Juice’s set for a special posthumous Live at the Wireless next week.

The concert saw Juice perform an array of hits – including ‘Lucid Dreams’ and ‘Robbery’ – before closing out the show by addressing his fans directly.

“Do whatever the fuck you want to do in this life,” he told the sold-out crowd. “Whether you want to be a rapper, actor, doctor, laywer, whatever the fuck you wanna be… so go out there, put in the work and do that shit. Now, go do great things.”

triple j will be broadcasting the Live at the Wireless set a few times over the course of next week – first up is next Monday night (27th July) on triple j Good Nights at 8PM AEST. You can catch it again at midday AEST on Wednesday, 29th July and then catch the usual encore broadcast on Sunday, 2nd August from 5pm AEST.

Earlier this month, the rapper’s third album Legends Never Die was released posthumously.
