Here Are Triple J’s 50 Most Played Acts Of 2017

Triple j has revealed which 50 acts it gave the most airtime over the past 12 months, and it’s basically a who’s who of Australia’s music festival circuit.

The list, which you can check out in full below, contains 62 per cent Australian acts, with Thundamentals taking out the number two spot to become triple j‘s most played Aussie act of the year.

In first place overall, however, is New Zealand pop phenom Lorde, who joins other international acts like The xx, Milky Chance and Royal Blood near the top of the list.

There’s also a promising amount of female-fronted acts reaching high positions this year, including the likes of Meg Mac, Vera Blue, Amy Shark and Ali Barter.

Peep the list of triple j‘s most played acts of 2017 below, but keep in mind that acts which released music earlier in the year might have received more plays than those who dropped tracks later in the year.

Earlier this week, triple j also revealed its list of most-watched Like A Version performances for 2017.
