Triple J’s One Night Stand Is Back & Looking For A New Home

Triple j’s iconic one-day, all-ages, drug and alcohol-free live music event One Night Stand will return in 2024 for the first time in five years, and it’s looking for a brand new home.

The youth radio station is now taking expressions of interest from regional Aussie towns who’d like to host the festival, which has previously taken place in the likes of Lucindale SA (2019),  St Helens (TAS), Mount Isa QLD (2017), Geraldton WA (2016), Mildura VIC (2014) and Dubbo NSW (2013).

To make an expression of interest for your town, head over here to explain why a One Night Stand would make a difference to your community.

The very first One Night Stand kicked off 20 years ago with a big blow-out in Natimuk, Western Victoria with the goal of bringing some of Australia’s hottest acts and rising stars to regional and rural areas.

The most recent instalment in 2019 featured the likes of Hilltop HoodsMeg MacOcean AlleyG Flip and more, prior to the pandemic rearing its ugly head.

This year, triple j will be teaming up with Music Australia to put on the comeback bash and raising critical funds for Australian music industry charity, Support Act in the process.
