Triple One have dropped the second single, ‘Salina’, from their forthcoming debut album, which is due out next month.
‘Salina’ is a slow-burning but still thumping track that sees the Sydney four-piece draw clear inspiration from the emo-rap pioneers of our generation, like Juice WRLD and Lil Uzi Vert.
“‘Salina’ is about heartbreak and how it often leads to self-destructive behaviour,” member Marty Bugatti said.
“It’s also about trying really hard but never quite reaching your own expectations and then taking it out on other people because you can’t admit your own wrongs.”
Fellow member Lil Dijon echoed that statement, saying ‘Salina’ is about “a battle of choices, and in the consequences when the choices are made.”
‘Salina’ follows the group’s latest track ‘Loverose’, both of which are set to appear on their debut album Panic Force.
