It Turns Out Trump-Supporting Rapper Lil Pump Wasn’t Even Registered To Vote

As you may recall, SoundCloud emcee Lil Pump strongly endorsed Donald Trump throughout this year’s US presidential election.

The rapper was open about his support for the Republican candidate on social media in the lead-up to voting day, and appeared at Trump’s final campaign rally the night before Americans went to the polls – at which Trump mistakenly introduced him as “Little Pimp”.

“MAGA 20, 20, 20. Don’t forget that. And do not vote for Sleepy Joe, at all!” the rapper declared at the rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan earlier this month ahead of Joe Biden defeating Trump and winning the presidency.

Well, turns out all that after all that public support, Pump didn’t even get around to voting in this year’s election – at all!

As the Smoking Gun reports, Florida state voter records show that the Miami rapper – real name Gazzy Garcia – has never actually been registered to vote, despite being eligible since turning 18 in November 2018.

Robert Rodriguez, a supervisor with the Miami-Dade County Elections Department, has also reportedly confirmed that Garcia is not registered.

The state of Florida ended up going to Trump anyway, so it’s not hugely consequential, but it’s still pretty funny that for all his MAGA chest-beating the rapper couldn’t even muster the wherewithal to register before the October 5 deadline.
