Sydney MC Tuka — one third of hip hop outfit Thundamentals — has announced a national tour behind the release of his third solo album, Life Death Time Eternal, with October and November dates to follow his appearance at Splendour In The Grass 2015.
Tuka’s Life Death Time Eternal tour will be his first ever solo headline tour, having supported the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Seth Sentry, Illy and Horrorshow in the past. The new run of dates will see him perform tracks from his latest full length effort, backed by a full band and the rest of his solo discography.
Life Death Time Eternal, which has been released into the wild today, was recorded over nine months, and features previously released tracks Tattoo (below) and Down For Whatever, which was exclusively streamed on Music Feeds.
In a recent interview with Music Feeds, Tuka discussed the album’s divergent sounds, which he puts down to not being so concerned with the limitations of genre.
“I love hip-hop, it’s always gonna be in me, I’m always going to make hip hop music but in the genre of hip-hop, you can really stretch it and there’s a lot of rules that you can just break and it’s still okay,” Tuka said.
Tuka’s Life Death Time Eternal national tour kicks off in Adelaide on 23rd October, and runs through until 14th November. Catch full tour and ticket details, below.
