It’s been just four days since Tyler Joseph of Twenty One Pilots teased a new tune on the horizon. Now, we have a brand new single from the duo and it’s a super groovy one.
The upbeat and danceable AF new track seems to be kind of like a pandemic/quarantine-themed love song. While it acknowledges how cooked the world currently is, it’s packed full of optimistic lyrics.
“Panic on the brink, world has gone insane, things are starting to get heavy, I can’t help but think, haven’t felt this way, since I asked you to go steady,” sings Joseph.
“Wondering, would you be, my little quarantine?”
Sharing the news to Twitter back on Monday, Joseph said, “Always writing. But this one feels like it should just come out now.”
He then described the new Twenty One Pilots single as “simple but hopeful”, adding that it’s his first time writing a song on electric guitar.

He also shared that a portion of the money earned from the new single would go towards a charity called Crew Nation.
“It provides funding for people who work in the live music industry who don’t have a job right now,” he said.
They’ve shared a video for the single too. Directed by Reel Bear Media, the video sees the duo send flash drives back and forth and redecorate their homes for the groovy tune.
