The world-renowned Ultra Music Festival is on-track to return to our shores with a full-scale, one-day event in Melbourne in March 2022.
Taking place at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and Kings Domain gardens, Ultra Australia will be a multi-stage production spread across three separate areas. These include the Main Stage, where the cream of electronic talent will perform; the Resistance Stage, which will shine a light on sounds from the electronic underground; and the UMF Radio Stage, which will host a slew of leading local DJs.
UMF launched in Miami, Florida in 1999 and now has events all around the world, including in Bali, Japan, India, Brazil, South Africa, Spain and many more. Ultra Australia held its first event in Melbourne in 2018 and a Sydney event was added in 2019.
Ultra Australia’s 2020 festivals got off the ground just before pandemic restrictions were imposed. The lineup included Afrojack, DJ Snake, Eric Prydz, Zedd, Markus Schulz, Cirez D and stacks more.
