Ultra Music Festival 2012: Line-up Released

The line-up for America’s largest electronica-dance festival has been unveiled. Ultra Music Festival, held in Miami in March, has released an absolute stellar line-up, including electronic synthpop legends and pioneers Kraftwek.

The festival was announced earlier this year to be heading to Australia and other Asian cities for a one day event, however it was cancelled shortly after the announcement.

Phase 1 of the Miami Ultra announcement see’s Avicii co-headlining the Rolling Stone, Avicii has spoken of his new stage show stating “This is the first time we’re able to use this amount of production for this show and we’ve been working on it, especially for the shows in general in 2012. I don’t know what I can and can’t say, but it’s going to be completely massive,”

Phase 2 of the Ultra line-up is yet to be announced, creating speculation of large acts such as Swedish House Mafia, who have recently posted a somewhat mysterious video on YouTube, showing the date of the Saturday night of the festival. Speculation has also started about the French electro-kings Daft Punk who have been rumoured for several years, however chances are slim as there has been no activity from Daft Punk since their onstage appearance with Phoenix during the encore at Madison Square Garden on the 20th October 2010.
