Update: 2012 Ultra Music Festival Sydney dates are 23,24,25 March
Organisers of the Ultra Music Festival have confirmed the festival will be coming to Sydney as part of an expansion plan that also includes Seoul and South Korea. Where the festival will be held and what date has not been revealed but an announcement is expected shortly.
Ultra Music is already taking place in Brazil , Sao Paulo and Ibiza, Spain. Ultra Music’s co-founder Russell Faibisch said:
“Electronic music is exploding everywhere. All countries round the world are experiencing it.”
Last weekend, the outdoor event hosted sell-out crowd of 160,000 people to catch 200 acts over three days including the Chemical Brothers, Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, David Guetta, Erick Morillo, Royksopp and Aussie bands Pendulum and Empire of the Sun.
