Australia’s other biggest heavy music festival UNIFY Gathering has just amped things up a notch for 2016, adding a DIY Aussie supergroup to its sophomore bill.
Introducing The All Nighters: “the best cover band you’ve never heard of”, consisting of Hellions members Matt Gravolin and Anthony Caruso and Heroes For Hire frontman Duane Hazell.
The news comes after hardcore punks Hellions themselves were previously announced on the festival’s massive 2016 lineup.
True to their name, the super-trio will keep the party going all night with a “shit load” of covers and a rotating cast of guest vocalists, and the best part? You get to pick their setlist.
By heading on over to the UNIFY 2016 website, you can choose from an online poll of 60 tunes, from the likes of Taylor Swift, Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, Limp Bizkit, The Offspring, Slipknot, Violent Soho, Jebediah, Silverchair and loads more, and help craft the band’s huge setlist of party-time jams.
The All Nighters are the final addition to the massive Unify 2016 line-up, which features 18 bands over the course of two days, including Parkway Drive, In Hearts Wake, Tonight Alive, Hands Like Houses and Melbourne metalcore outfit Confession’s second-last show ever.
UNIFY Gathering 2016 will take place on Saturday, 16th and Sunday, 17th January 2016 in South Gippsland, Victoria. Catch the full lineup below, and the festival timetable (sans Confession) right here.
