San Diego punk rockers Unwritten Law have just announced they’ll return to Australia in 2016 for their Elva 15th anniversary tour.
Forming in 1990, Unwritten Law were a massive force in the pioneering of power pop-punk in the USA throughout the ’90s, and their style of melodic punk seems to have always resonated well in Australia. So despite having been down under on tour less than a year ago, they’ll be back by popular demand in December 2016.
Celebrating 15 years since the release of their huge 2002 LP Elva, Unwritten Law will play nine massive dates in and out of capital cities, and all in the space of two weeks.
Elva has long been considered the beginning of the band’s move towards a more accessible sound, and is still considered one of their best records to date.
