Brisbane’s free and all-ages festival, Valley Fiesta, has revealed its first lineup announcement for 2014. This year’s annual street party will be headlined by Australian rocker Dan Sultan, young Adelaide rapper Allday, electronic musician Motez and triple j Unearthed 2013 winner Remi.
The festival will also feature a special set from one of Australia’s leading audio visual DJs, Sampology, as well as sets from electro-pop princes Safia, producer Basenji, and Brisbanites Jordan Rakei, DJ Butcher and Young Franco.
Filling out the festival’s impressive first bill are Dr Rhythm, MKO, Mosman Adler, Georgia Porter and Band of Frequencies. The festival will also feature a QLD Music Award Showcase, featuring Jeremy Neale, and an LBTGI showcase by the name of Sunday As One.
Valley Fiesta 2014 takes place on 23rd and 24th August, in association with other 50 local venues. Other festival activities will include a Chinatown Chow Down, the Red Bull Crate Diggers & Music Market, and the Valley Shoppe Swap.
