US alt-rockers Violent Femmes have added a Brisbane headline show to their upcoming Aussie jaunt, which already included appearances at A Day On The Green, WOMADelaide 2016 and a handful of other dates.
Violent Femmes are set to bring their blend of punk, folk and free-jazz vibes to Brisbane’s The Triffid on Monday, 7th March, just days after they drop their latest album, We Can Do Anything, on 4th March.
We Can Do Anything is the band’s ninth album, and their first collection of new material in 15 years. Its release will come as Violent Femmes make their way around Australia, with performances also scheduled as part of Golden Plains Festival and Sydney’s Twilight At Taronga concert series.
