Violent Soho Become Old Blokes At The Bowlo In Genius ‘Like Soda’ Video

Mansfield’s finest, Violent Soho, have dropped a brilliantly bizarre video for their latest single Like Soda, featuring everything from mobility scooters and walking sticks to boomboxes and prescription drug snorting.

Violent Soho’s Like Soda clip (below) sees the band roll up to Queensland’s Bardon Bowls Club disguised as old blokes, before getting cosy with some local ladies who aren’t afraid of flipping the bird, slowly licking cream biscuits or a good game of bowls.

Directed by Dan Graetz, the Like Soda video also features a sneaky cameo from Cosmic Psychos’ ‘Mad Macka’.

Like Soda is the first single from Violent Soho’s highly-anticipated new album, which is planned for release early next year. Since its release, the much-hyped song has even spawned a petition calling for it to replace Advance Australia Fair as the Australian national anthem.

Violent Soho are touring with Laneway Festival in February, and will hopefully be showing off even more new tunes by the time that rolls around.
