Violent Soho fans will be counting the sleeps until the band’s forthcoming album, Hungry Ghost, drops on Friday, 6th September but the Mansfield crew have helped ease the wait by unveiling their latest single Dope Calypso and a video clip that will get you keen for their Australian tour.
As it turns out Hungry Ghost was put together while the band held down full time jobs after exhausting themselves with non stop touring in the US. The result, however, is a collection of tracks featuring more effects and experimentation, laid down just the way they wanted them. Dope Calypso is proof that the band have worked hard to fine tune every track on the album.
The clip for the single directed by Timothy O’Keefe suits the guys to a T featuring footage of their performances, recording time as well as touring and back stage shenanigans. If you enjoyed the clip don’t forget about Violent Soho’s headlining Australia tour during October and November.
