Voting Now Open For APRA’s ‘Song Of The Year’ Award

The Australasian Performing Right Association (APRA) is asking for its members to vote for the prestigious and only peer voted music award in the country – the APRA ‘Song of the Year’ award. Members are being asked to log onto the APRA| AMCOS website before Monday 19 April to vote from a shortlist of twenty nominated songs.

In excess of 35,000 eligible voters were able to have their say in this year’s shortlist which includes the following list of nominees:

Sally Howland, Director Member Services at APRA| AMCOS commented, “The range of nominations we received is a testament to the talents of our creative songwriting community.”

The winner will be announced at the 2010 APRA Awards, which are set to be held at the Sydney Convention Centre on June 21st 2010, as part of Song Summit.
