Brisbane treasure, Wafia was up for Like a Version this week. She took on fellow Australian, Troye Sivan’s ‘My My My!’.
She slowed the track right down, recreating it as a slower, contemporary RnB piece. Where the original was full of synth and electronic beats, Wafia trades the sounds for tame, simplified beats.
It’s a really special version full of beautiful, layered vocals and that distinct, Wafia sound.
She also performed her brand new single, ‘Flowers & Superpowers’.
