Wallapalooza Returns With Mega 2021 Line Up

In some very welcome news amongst the current national shit-storm, Wallapalooza, the Gold Coasts’ longest-running independent festival, has announced the details for its 2021 instalment.

Lismore’s prodigal sons Grinspoon head-up the announcement, alongside local rock heavyweights Dead Letter CircusThe Butterfly Effect, and one hell of a nostalgia drawcard with 28 Days.

It’s all set to go down on November 20th, which gives you plenty of time to brush up on the lyrics of Chemical Heart.

“(We’re) excited to join the Wallapalooza,” says Grinspoon in a joint statement.

“This has been an interesting year, to say the least, and we can’t wait to see people out in the sunshine rockin!”

In addition to gifting locals with an epic line-up, Wallapalooza is also set to enter a new era this year, finding a new home at the Mudgeeraba Showgrounds (previous events were held at The Wallaby Hotel, the oldest pub on the GC).

“It’s very exciting this year to expand the event to the showgrounds giving thousands more live music fans the opportunity to spend the day experiencing some of Australia’s greatest headline acts, whilst also experiencing the heart and soul of Wallapalooza, the amazing local talent,” says Andy Clark, Director at Pineapple Mafia.

“Such a diverse bill means there is something for everyone who likes it heavy.”
