MIA AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson has returned to the stage in a blaze of glory alongside a league of legends.
The veteran Scottish wailer joined Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant and English muso Paul Rodgers for an encore performance of Barrett Strong’s 1959 classic ‘Money (That’s What I Want)’ during Roger’s tour stop in Oxford, England.
It’s the first time we’ve seen the Acca Dacca icon on stage since he was reportedly “kicked to the curb” from the band that made him famous due to issues with his hearing.
And this new clash-of-the-rock-titans performance comes after Johnson announced that Plant would be appearing in his new TV show A Life On The Road alongside other rock heavyweights like The Who’s Roger Daltrey, Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason and Sting.

Meanwhile, Johnson’s future with AC/DC remains up-in-the-air (as does the future of the band itself, who ICYMI recruited Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose to replace Johnson after he bowed out of their 2016 Rock Or Bust world tour).
Despite rumours Johnson has been permanently fired for “slowing down”, the discovery of a new hearing device spelled hope for his return to the stage with Acca Dacca, and this new performance seems to suggest it’s a surefire possibility.
