Watch Arcade Fire Cover Lorde’s ‘Green Light’ With A Youth Choir

Arcade Fire have covered Lorde‘s hit single ‘Green Light’, and it’s left the New Zealand pop star with “a big dumb grin” on her face.

Arcade Fire squeezed into the BBC Radio 1 ‘Live Lounge’ for their performance of ‘Green Light’, which saw them backed by a seven-piece youth choir. The band’s Win Butler also thanked “our Lorde” for “fighting the good fight” before the performance.

Following the cover, Lorde tweeted her out her love, saying, “Got a big dumb grin on watching my favourite band sing my song — life is wild sometimes.”

During their time in the ‘Live Lounge’, Arcade Fire also performed their original track ‘Everything Now’, from their forthcoming new album of the same name,= which is due for release on 28th July. Watch both of their ‘Live Lounge’ performances, below.
